I don’t know if I can find the words to speak highly enough of Monrose or the owners, Donna and Richard. First of all, they offered an amazing menu full of delicious food at the most reasonable prices I found after having tastings at three other caterers.... and they happily accomodated my wish for a martini bar, including whatever martini ingredients I requested (I had pomegranate martinis as one choice to give a sense of how accomodating they were). Each time I spoke with Donna, she was friendly and on top of things - I relied on her for everything and knew that she would execute everything flawlessly. The bonus for Monrose is that Donna truly did act as a coordinator for me. That day, if anything needed to be taken care of with any of the vendors, she was in charge - and she went way above and beyond the call of duty. We brought her back a beautiful gift from our honeymoon just to show her how much we appreciated her that evening. I had no worries with her next to me all night. Also, the food they served was so delicious that the poor wait staff couldn’t even get in the entrance way with more appetizers during the cocktail hour because people were devouring them. The food was unbelievably great, the selection was fresh and of the highest quality, and the portions were enormous. I heard more compliments on the food and saw more empty plates than I’ve ever seen at a wedding. People are still talking about it, and I observed (and heard) that the wait staff provided impeccable service. They were everywhere at once, very professional and friendly, and provided for every guests’ needs. All I can say is that I wish I had more parties like this just so that I could hire them again. It was an enormous pleasure to work with them and have them cater our event. Wow.

MONROSE CATERING WORKED HAND IN HAND WITH ME TO PRODUCE A WEDDING UP HIGH ON A CLIFF IN MALIBU....NOT AN EASY FEAT. RICHARD AND DONNA AND ALL OF THEIR STAFF WERE SPECTACULAR. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS THE STAFF AND CHEF...OUTSTANDING!!!!!! THEIR GENEROSITY AND HELP THEY GAVE TO ME TO MAKE A WEDDING THAT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. Decided to use this catering facilty because of its location and the review given the fact that we live many miles away we hoped for the best. We were having a surprise birthday lunch for 20+ catered for a friend. They suggested a menu that was totally on target. They not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. Friendly, on target, fresh, plentiful and creative. Such a great find. Highly recommend!
Donna and Richard catered our wedding and i could not have asked for a better catering experience. they were very professional, but at the same time calm and relaxed and took care of everything and not one thing went wrong. the food was great, their staff was great, and they were affordable.
Donna and Richard catered our wedding 5 years ago... and i still rant and rave about how much we loved them! service, food, and price were all great- AND they even took care of the little extras we did not expect- like a nice touch to the menu for each guest and table frames etc... even recommended which wines to look for that were affordable and tasty!
